WalkWard Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how WalkWard (the "App") handles information when you use its services. It covers the information we may collect, the purposes for using and sharing it, and our retention practices. Our information handling practices are intended to meet applicable privacy and data protection requirements.

1. Information Collected Through the App

1.1 Use Without Registration

You do not need to register an account to access the App's main features. We do not require your name, email address, username, password, or comparable account profile details for that use.

1.2 Device and Walking Activity Data

Using the App may automatically generate or provide information such as your device model, operating system and app versions, device identifiers, IP address, diagnostic data, and step counts or other walking activity records. We use this information to run the App, assess its performance, resolve problems, and improve your experience.

1.3 Ads and Optional Purchases

Advertisements and optional in-app purchases may be available in the App. Limited information may be processed by us and our advertising partners to serve, personalize, and evaluate ads. The relevant app store processes in-app purchases; we neither receive nor keep your complete payment card number or other sensitive payment credentials.

1.4 Information You Send to Support

When you request assistance or share feedback, we may process the details you voluntarily send, including your email address and the contents of your message. This allows us to answer you, look into reported problems, and improve the App.

2. Purposes for Processing Information

Information is used to support the following activities:

3. Circumstances in Which Information Is Shared

3.1 Providers Supporting Our Services

Trusted service providers may receive limited information to help deliver App features, analytics, advertising, push notifications, hosting, or technical assistance. We expect these providers to use that information solely to carry out services for us and to protect it in accordance with applicable legal obligations.

3.2 Compliance and Protection

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is needed to comply with law or lawful requests, uphold our rights, investigate improper use, or protect the App, its users, or the public.

4. Storage, Retention, and Removal

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to safeguard stored information. We retain it only for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes in this Policy, including operating the App, maintaining security, conducting analytics, providing support, meeting legal obligations, and resolving disputes.

After information is no longer required, we delete, aggregate, or anonymize it so that it cannot reasonably identify you. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data in your device settings may also remove some information stored locally.

To ask us to delete information associated with you, use the contact email below. We assess and answer deletion requests in accordance with applicable law. Limited records may still be retained when needed for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate business purposes.

5. Identifiers, Cookies, and Related Tools

Advertising identifiers, cookies, software development kits, and similar technologies may be used by the App and related services to support functionality, analytics, and advertising. Your device or browser controls allow you to manage some of these settings. Disabling these technologies may affect how certain features operate.

6. Safeguards

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational protections to help prevent unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or changes to information. Complete security cannot, however, be assured for any internet connection, device, or storage system.

7. Information About Children

The App is not directed to children, generally meaning those younger than 16 or below the age specified by local law. We do not knowingly collect children's personal data. If we discover that a child has supplied personal data, we will take reasonable measures to remove it. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information through the App may contact us.

8. Exercising Your Rights

Your location may give you rights to access, correct, or delete your information, or to restrict or object to particular processing. Please write to the email below to exercise rights available to you. Verification of your request may be necessary before we act on it.

9. Revisions to This Policy

Changes to the App, our practices, or legal requirements may lead us to revise this Policy. We will publish revisions here and update the effective date. If you continue to use the App following a revision, that use signifies acceptance of the updated Policy.
